OUR STORY

BOKU SUPERFOOD

Our journey began with the belief that food has the power to heal. Years ago, we set out to find natural solutions for our family's health and discovered the incredible potential of superfoods. From that realization, Boku Superfood was born. Today, we source ancient superfoods from the purest places on Earth, bringing their benefits into modern kitchens with sustainable, plant-based blends. Everything we create is driven by our commitment to wellness, sustainability, and a better world for future generations.

CAFE BOKU

Before launching new projects on the East Coast, our family operated Café BōKU in the heart of Ojai, California—an inviting space dedicated to healthy, sustainable living. Housed in a beautifully restored historic building that once served as a Ford dealership, the café offered energizing coffees, teas, bowls, and sandwiches infused with nutrient-rich superfoods.

Over time, Café BōKU became a beloved community hub for locals and visitors seeking mindful nourishment and connection. The location even featured electric vehicle charging stations, reflecting our early commitment to wellness and sustainability in every form. While the Ojai café is part of our history, its spirit of health, hospitality, and innovation inspires everything we do today.

THE BARN

As our family grows, so does our vision. We’re breathing new life into a historic barn in Southern Pines, North Carolina, transforming it into a vibrant destination for food, drinks, music, and community gatherings. Rooted in the area’s agricultural heritage and built with a spirit of craftsmanship, The Barn blends timeless character with modern comfort and design.

Every element—from the reclaimed materials to the locally inspired menu—reflects our commitment to authenticity and connection. The Barn will serve as a welcoming space where friends, families, and neighbors can come together to celebrate, unwind, and experience the best of Southern hospitality in a setting that honors the past while embracing the present.

THE BARN: A FAMILY AFFAIR

At The  Barn, family isn't just part of the story — it's the foundation. Built with love, teamwork, and a shared dream of bringing community together, The Barn blends food, fun, and family in every detail.
